Symptoms
Issue1: Consideration amount more than the Face value:
On Callable Bond when Fixed Income security Sell deal is created it shows Consideration amount
more than the Face value when :SETTLEMENT DATE is same as the deal date; however when the same
viewed in FIXED INCOME SECURITY CALCULATOR the face value and the consideration amount is same.
Issue 2: Consideration amount less than actual received:
Consideration amount is $25.00 less than what was actually received at the time the bond was called.
1). Create a Callable Bond
2). Then Create Fixed Income Securities:
Purchase Price $9,993,000.00
Face Value $10,000,000.00
Settlement Date December 22, 2010
Maturity Date June 22, 2012
Bond Called on March 22, 2011
3). Per the bank, the amount received when bond was called $10,015,625.00.
Which was the purchase prices + the interest earned from December 22, 2010
until March 22, 2011.
Purchase price $9,993,000.00
Interest Payment $ 22,625.00
Total Recv: $10,015,625.00
However Application calculate Short by 25.00?
