Symptoms

When upgrading from 11.5.9 to 12.0.4 , when attempting to compile package WSMPLBMI, the following error occurs.

PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored

11737
PL/SQL: ORA-00904: "INTERFACE_ID": invalid identifier

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. SQL> alter package &1 compile body;
old 1: alter package &1 compile body
new 1: alter package WSMPLBMI compile body
