Create Accounting Request Form Fails With APP-FND-00806 The Default Value Is Invalid For The Ledger_id Segment (Doc ID 795094.1)

Symptoms

 When attempting to submit Create Accounting - Assets for a Book ,while selecting the BOOK TYPE CODE , the following error occurs:

ERROR:
APP-FND-00806: The default value XXXXX  is invalid for the Ledger ID segment. Your default value will be ignored. Please inform your system administrator that:
Add the value XXXXX to the value set for segment Ledger ID, or choose another default value in the Key Flexfield Segments form or Descriptive Flexfield Segments form.
Use the Edit Concurrent Program or Define Report Set form for Standard Report Submission report defaults.
Value XXXXX for the flexfield segment Ledger ID does not exist in the value set XLA_SRS_SUBLEDGER_LEDGERS.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Connect to an FA responsibility
2.Navigate to Create accounting and try to submit Create Accounting -Assets for this FA book
