Many Dead Processes Referencing WFMGSMS Concurrent Manager (Doc ID 801362.1)

Symptoms

The Internal Concurrent Manager log file reports many dead processes referencing WFMGSMS (Workflow Summary Mailer Concurrent Manager) Concurrent Manager.  For example:

Found dead process: spid=(14546), cpid=(506393), Service Instance=(1064)

Starting WFMGSMS Concurrent Manager : 03-DEC-2008 04:48:18
Process monitor session ended : 03-DEC-2008 04:48:21

 
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Review the Internal Manager Log File.

2. Many dead processes referencing WFMGSMS Concurrent Manager are found.
