Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle XML Publisher - Version: 10.1.3.3.2

Symptoms

From XML Standalone Release 10.1.3.3.2:
When a report times out, after the specified timeout period, there are errors when signing on back to access the report then clicking "view" after being timed out will take the user back to the log-in
page. This is expected; however, the BI Publisher parameter form remains at the top of the login page. It should not display in that manner.

ERROR
-----------------------
Session has expired because of inactivity .

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run any report, allow the session to time out, and try to access the report
by hitting "View". After being brought to the sign in page (with the parameters on top).

2. Enter password and it will bring back the report screen with the message
"Your session has expired. To sign in, please click here".

Changes

Upgrade to Bi Publisher 10.1.3.3.2
