User With "Read Only" Role Still Able To Create and Update The Install Base (Doc ID 865297.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Define a User with the CSI_READ_ONLY role. When connected as this user it is still possible to update/create the Install Base via the Oracle Install Base Agent User responsibility.

A user with a 'Read Only' role should not be able to create or update an instance in Install Base.

Steps To Reproduce:

Resp. System Administrator.
NAV Security/User/Define
Create new user with Resp.
- Oracle Installed Base Agent User
- Install Base User.

Resp. CRM HTML Administration
NAV Setup/Users/Registration/User Maintenance.
Query user entered under 1.
Click on Roles
Click on update.

Login as the new created user.
Resp. Install Base User.
Query an instance.
This works as expected. Do not have any option to update or create an instance.

Resp. Oracle Installed Base Agent User.
Here is possible to update or create an instance. This is not expected.
