(Doc ID 866694.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle HRMS (Poland) - Version 11.5.10.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When entering employees for Polish localization, national identifier is
mandatory where field for person type is employee whose Nationality is
Polish. How can employee information be entered without entering the
National Identifier?
Unpublished Bug 4627784 ERROR WHEN CREATING A POLAND NEW HIRE - NI IS REQUIRED allowed 'No Validation' but this will not meet requirements.
PESEL can take a month to be available but the user must be entered
into the system. Setting 'No Validation' removes validation for all
but does not allow null. There should be a warning to let the user know the data is not
valid or has not been entered. If the data is valid, the warning would not display.
Can the profile option HR: National Identifier Validation be set to Warn on Fail for PESEL?
This should also allow a 'Null' value in the field.
