R12.1.1 'Ordered Item' LOV Does Not Display New Items (Doc ID 878122.1)

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:

After upgrading from 12.0.6 to 12.1.1, after a new item is created in Inventory, you cannot see the new item in the 'Ordered Item' LOV on the sales order line.  You can see items that were created prior to the upgrade.

As a work-around, you can use Actions > Advanced Item Search to find the new item.
But the regular LOV in the form does not work for any new items entered after the upgrade.

Profile: OM: Use Materialized View for Items LOV = Yes

-- Steps To Reproduce:
1.  Create the new item in Inventory
2.  Add to Price List
3.  Enter a new Sales Order
4.  Attempt to place item on sales order line.
     Click the "search" icon, item does not show up in search.
