Information in this document applies to any platform.
Executable:GLPPOS - Posting

Symptoms

NOTE: In the images/examples above or below and/or the attached document, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance).  Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

A journal contains multiple balancing segment values (BSV).
Posting fails with the following in the log file:

PPOS0250: The following journals encountered errors while trying to create or retrieve the listed intercompany or intracompany accounts:
=> TEST INTERCO 01
<CODE COMBINATION>

Intracompany Balancing Rules are defined for the  legal entity name - 'No Legal Entity'.
Balancing Segment Values are not assigned to the Ledger or Legal Entity.

This has already been verified:
- There are no cross validation or security rules that would prevent the account combination creation if it does not already exist.
- If dynamic insertion is not enabled, the account combination already exists, is enabled and not end dated.
