Goal
Beginning release R12.1, Customers using prior versions of the North American or Europe or World Market Dataset will need to upgrade to the North American (NA Q4/2007) or Europe (EU Q4/2007) or World Market (WM Q4/2007) or Australian (AUS Q2/2007) Dataset.
The benefits derived from upgrading to this new dataset include improved performance for Advanced Scheduler and the Map viewer and more comprehensive coverage.

This document outlines the procedures, steps and the relevant sections that need to be followed in order to:
- Migrate from Oracle Corp. apps release 11i using Navteq Datasets prior to the NA (Q4/2007) or EU (Q4/2007) or WM (Q4/2007) or AUS (Q2/2007) Dataset
- In release 11i, the indexes are created as CSF user.
- To upgrade to release R12, these indexes created as CSF user have to be explicitly dropped.
- To drop indexes from CSF schema, use the drop script csfgeoidxdo.sql which is located at $CSF_TOP/patch/115/sql.
- Then, follow the steps laid out in this guide.
- In release 11i, the indexes are created as CSF user.
- Migrate from Oracle Corp. apps release 11i using Navteq NA (Q4/2007) or EU (Q4/2007) or WM (Q4/2007) or AUS (Q2/2007) Dataset
- There is no need to upload the Navteq Dataset
- Drop and re-create the indexes
- To drop indexes from CSF schema, use the drop script csfgeoidxdo.sql which is located at $CSF_TOP/patch/115/sql
- Please execute the Steps 2 & 3 in Section 3 and all the steps in Section 4.
- Migrate from Oracle Corp. apps release R12.0 using Navteq NA (Q4/2007) or EU (Q4/2007) or WM (Q4/2007) or AUS (Q2/2007) Dataset
- There is no need to upload the Navteq Dataset
- Drop and re-create the indexes
- Please execute Section 1, the Steps 2 & 3 in Section 3 and all the steps in Section 4.
- Complete new installation of release R12.1
- The entire guide needs to be followed.
