Symptoms
While creating a Quick Payment, user selected the Payment Documents, and the following error message was displayed:
APP-SQLAP-97856: You cannot select this [set of] Payment Documents because it is in use by Payment Instruction ####. Please select another [set of] Payment Documents.
The Payment Instruction it refers to was for another Quick Payment, so the Payment Instruction cannot be terminated or completed.
Steps:
- From a Payables Responsibility navigate to Payments -> Entry -> Payments
- Fill out the check header information, through the payment document field
- When leaving the payment document field the error appears
