Symptoms
The workflow agent listener service process keeps dying every time its started. It will not start and the error message may look like this:
:ERROR:[SVC-GSM-WFALSNRSVC-50704-10003 :
oracle.apps.fnd.wf.bes.AgentListenerProcessor.read()]:10 consecutive errors occurred
oracle.apps.fnd.wf.bes.AgentListenerProcessor.read()]:10 consecutive errors occurred
The notification mailer process might also be down as a result as well as the workflow agent listeners.
Changes
This happens with instances which have been upgraded from to 11.5.10 and higher. Usually this particular problem is not observed in a new install with fresh data.
