Symptoms

Problem Statement

When attempting to run a QuickPay the following error occurs.

APP-PAY-51118: Error was encountered when processing assignment 5921
HR_51119_HRPROC_ERR_OCC_ON_ET
ETNAME PR Sunday Wages
APP-PAY-51119: Error was encountered when processing Element Type PR Sunday Wages
HR_7344_HRPROC_MISS_FMLA_CTX
CONTEXT_NAME TIME_DEFINITION_ID
FORMULA_NAME PR_SUNDAY_WAGES_HOURS_X_RATE
APP-PAY-07344: Unknown context TIME_DEFINITION_ID required by formula PR_SUNDAY_WAGES_HOURS_X_RATE

Cause: The formula PR_SUNDAY_WAGES_HOURS_X_RATE requires a value to be supplied for context TIME_DEFINITION_ID. However, no such value could be found in the udca User Context area.

Action: Please check that you have supplied values for all the relevant contexts to the udca structure and that the set flag has been set to true in the structure.



Steps to Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Created a new earning element "XXX Wages".
  2. Attached this element to one of the employee's element entry screen
  3. Run the quick pay and we get the following error
