Symptoms

Create Accounting Process Fails with 95353 Error For Self-Assessed Tax Lines in R12.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a Tax
  2. Create and approve a PO for Supplier Name.
  3. Create an Invoice matched to the PO  and add manual tax .Mark the Tax as Self-Assessed
  4. Validate and create accounting for the invoice and note the error
    Error Number: 95353. Subledger Accounting was unable to derive an accounting code combination using the account derivation rule Self-Assessed Tax Liability Account owned by Oracle. Please review the account derivation rule and make sure it derives a valid accounting flexfield combination for the source values passed for the transaction.
