Error Code: FLEX-DFF DEFINITION NOT FROZEN
Error Text: The descriptive flexfield with application name &APPLICATION_NAME (&APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME) and name &DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD_TITLE (&DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD_NAME) is not frozen. Please contact your system administrator.

How to resolve errors like

The descriptive flexfield with application name &APPLICATION_NAME (&APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME) and name &DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD_TITLE (&DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD_NAME) is not frozen. Please contact your system administrator.

This is not an application specific issue. The error message means that there is incomplete descriptive flexfield setup. When descriptive flexfield definitions are created or updated they need to be frozen to enable the applications to compile their definitions. There is a check box to freeze/unfreeze flex field definitions on the descriptive flex field form. If the flex field definitions are not frozen they cannot be compiled and then any subsequent attempt to access the flex fields by an application will result in the error.
