Last updated on MAY 22, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Regulatory Reporting - Version 8.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

CRR Application E-File Generation stopped working after applying AAI 8.0.7.4.0 Patch.

 There is a change in the upload document related path from AAI 8074 and that change is not in sync with the CRR application. The below old settings reflect to the document upload before AAI 8074 and New settings refer to the document upload path after AAI 8074

1) Old Settings
--The below given paths are old settings using which Efile generation on CRR application is successfull. But document upload / download is failing on ECM
UPDATE configuration set paramvalue = '/$USER/ftpshare/DocStorage' where paramname = 'DOCUMENT_UPLOAD_SAVE';
UPDATE configuration set paramvalue = '/$web_server/temp/upload' where paramname = 'DOCUMENT_UPLOAD_TEMP';
UPDATE configuration set paramvalue = '/$web_server/temp/download' where paramname = 'DOCUMENT_DOWNLOAD';

2) New Settings
--The below given path are required as part of 80740 AAI patch and ECM upload/download works fine using this configuration.
UPDATE configuration set paramvalue = '/DocStorage' where paramname = 'DOCUMENT_UPLOAD_SAVE';
UPDATE configuration set paramvalue = '/upload' where paramname = 'DOCUMENT_UPLOAD_TEMP';
UPDATE configuration set paramvalue = '/download' where paramname = 'DOCUMENT_DOWNLOAD';

3)OFSAAI 80740 release notes (806 admin guide) which addresses this configurations also hints us to have new settings, but customer expect CRR to uptake these paths and work seamlessly.
