Symptoms

STR: E-file Status tab slow to open

The screen under Canada STR | File Reports | E-file Status takes a long time to open/settle in production. It can take ~30 seconds to open and then a further ~20 seconds to run the show the list for recent E-files (E-File Generated >= <yesterday's date>).

It is apparent that this screen is running a query of ALL E-files upon opening, and then a second query of recent E-files is performed.

The screen should open quickly so that filing work can be done.

This is causing a problem in our disaster recovery project (mirrored environment) since the screen is not opening and then timing out after 45 minutes.

There is no requirement to list all E-files upon opening this screen. For solutioning, this screen should be optimized so that no large query is done on start/opening.
