While Registering User For Wallet, OTP Is Not Sent But Wallet Gets Registered (Doc ID 2926745.1)

Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

OTP is not sent on email ID or Mobile number who is not yet registered for wallets


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

OTP should be sent on user's registered email ID and Mobile Number


STEPS


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to OBDX application as retail user who is not yet registered for wallets.
2. On Dashboard, at the bottom there will be "Wallets" widget with "Register Now" button.
3. Click on "Register Now" button
4. "Sign Up" window will be displayed.
5. Click on "Get OTP" button.


BUSINESS IMPACT


The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, The user is not able to send money to a wallet.

Changes

 No changes done to hardware/product or environment cause this issue.
