ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Bank reported ATM transactions which have wrong value date derived and accounting posted with wrong value date .
 
For instance, the transactions received during Jan with value date as “3012” , system has wrongly derived the value date as 30-12-2023

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The value date year part should be as per actual the year when transaction actually posted.

Due to this issue, accounts have incorrect value dated balance and customers are charged wrong interest for several months

Changes

 The year has been derived incorrectly during the year end change and caused the incorrect value date.
