Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Transaction Postings and Balance Additions, at lease charge-off or closure.
User have identified an issue with the transaction postings, when the lease account is being terminated and then marked as paid-off or charged-off.
While doing so, system is posting a PAYMENT NONCASH with a small amount (< $5 in most cases).
In addition to this, there are transactions being posted with descriptions as follows:
TERMINATE DEPRECIATION
TERMINATE RESIDUAL
CLOSE TERMINATE
CLOSE INVENTORY
CLOSE EXCESS USAGE FEE
This in turn is showing up a very misleading number on the balances screen as well, in the TERMINATION or INVENTORY balance types.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

System should not post PAYMENT NONCASH with a small amount (< $5 in most cases) transaction while posting the termination or close transactions which is causing mismatch of balance.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Create Account with Security Deposit amount
2) Generate few billings.
3) Full Payment posted for all dues.
4) Termination Posted with Payment Noncash
5) Termination Reverse or PAID OFF posted on Account or post CHARGED OFF on Account.
6) Test Result and check After Reversal of Terminate, System is not allowing to post Terminate after Paid Off without any reverse and System is not allowing to post Terminate after Charged Off without any reversal respectively.
BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot correct balance of the account which is cause mismatch balances in financial reports.
