Secondary Ledger Not Appearing In Smart View

Goal
There are 2 ledgers, one primary (PL) and one secondary (SL). The secondary ledger differs from the primary ledger in the calendar.
The user can see the PL and SL in the Journals screen, i.e., it can select either one from the Data Access Set (DAS) drop down list in the Applications UI.
When the user goes to Smart View, under Shared Connections, two applications are shown: XXChartOfAccounts and XXChartOfAccounts_2 but in the Member Selection window under All Ledgers only the following is seen:
All Ledgers --> it is expanded and shows the values below:
(Ledger)@[Not Specified]

The question is why the secondary ledger is not being displayed in Smart View?
