This task, along with most other setup activities, are accessible through Functional Setup Manager. These setups must be done before transactions can be processed by Cost Management.

Analysis Group is associated with a cost element to re-group item costs for analysis. Analysis group is another parallel/alternative way to classify the cost. The same Cost Element can be classified into one or more Cost Analysis groups, thus providing multiple classification of the same Cost Element.
