Last updated on JUNE 02, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion General Ledger - Version 11.1.7.0.0 and later
Oracle Fusion General Ledger Cloud Service - Version 11.1.7.0.0 and later
Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub - Version 11.1.7.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A custom application has been created in Fusion Accounting Hub.
When running accounting for that custom application for foreign currency transactions, the Create Accounting Execution report is showing the following message:
The subledger journal entry does not balance in one or more of the entered currencies.

Example: there is staging data valued in currency CZK at Entered Amount = 0.02999999.
The amount is converted to Euros at the following currency rate 0.0364584217639949
The calculated accounted amount from this is 0.001093752288335629360051 less than the decimal precision for the Euro.
This accounted for amount results in an accounting conversion error message.
