Getting Error (FND-2654) While Creating Category flexfield for Fusion Assets (Doc ID 1950988.1)

While creating Category flexfield for FA the following error occurs:

ERROR
------------
The value set XX_MAJOR cannot be assigned to this segment MAJOR_CATEGORY. (FND-2654)
In application 140, key flexfield CAT#, and structure XX_CATEGORY_FLEXFIELD, default value set XX_MAJOR cannot be assigned to segment MAJOR_CATEGORY which uses column SEGMENT1.
The assigned value set must have a data type that is compatible with the column data type and its maximum length must be no longer than the column length.
