Goal

Is is possible for a user to be able to choose the conversion rate at
transaction level in the reporting currency ledger .

As an example , when a transaction is entered in subledger , to be able to
choose the exchange rate used in reporting currency . Different rates will be
used for the same currency in the same day .

Typical requirement could be:

There is US company located in Norway, the Ledger structure is as follows:
Primary books  -- USD US dollar currency
Reporting books -- NOK Norwegian Kronos currency
Exchange rate type from primary to reporting book is Corporate exchange
    rate type

If a Payable invoice is received from supplier in other currency other than
NOK, the system will report the amount on the reporting books based on the
corporate exchange rate. The requirement is to capture the supplier exchange
rate based on the user rate in Payables.  This requirement applies only if
the NOK currency exchange rate is reflected on the invoice.  This is
Norwegian requirement that the exchange rate of the user on NOK values is
captured .  If this is not available then always the corporate rate will be
used .  Is there a way for us to manually enter the supplier exchange rate on
reporting books?  In imported invoice, can we put the user rate type and
 enter the supplier exchange rate?
