Symptoms
When attempting to run QuickPay for an employee with two different elements, the following error occurs.
Error was encountered when processing payroll relationship XXXXXX-1
The gross amount for this payroll relationship was not defined from the net amount in the maximum number of iterations
- If left with Standard Earnings no error is returned
- If adding Supplemental Earnings (Added Car Allowance and Cost of Living Allowance) the error is returned
- If deleting Car Allowance the error is returned
- If deleting Cost of Living Allowance the error is not returned anymore
Therefore adding any Supplemental Earnings such as Car Allowance and Cost of Living Allowance the process errors out
