Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Order Management Cloud Service - Version 11.1.11.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Reference data must be collected for it to be made available to the Order Promising Setup tasks. An example of this is when creating a Sourcing Rule for a newly created Item, the Item will not be shown in the Item LOV when defining a sourcing Rule. In this instance Items need to be collected. The - Refresh and Start the Order Promising Server - ESS Process must be run to make the changes available to the Order Promising Engine.

This Note describes how to Collect Fusion source reference data.

Oracle Fusion Global Order Promising uses data collected into a repository called the planning data repository. To populate the planning data repository, you schedule or run collections processes in one of the Supply Chain Planning work areas.

To run plans from the Planning Central work area, you must collect data into a planning data repository. Order promising and order management processes also use the planning data repository to run the respective processes.
