Symptoms

When attempting to load inventory transactions, the following error occurs.

ERROR

INV_LOT_SERIAL_VALIDATION_FAIL - The lot or serial validation failed. Check log for details.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) For the items, only enable the serial control.
2) In the FBDI template, do not provide LOTS information (INV_TRANSACTION_LOTS_INTERFACE), only enter serial information (INV_SERIAL_NUMBERS_INTERFACE).
3) Run Manage Inventory Transactions.
4) Transaction fails to load with below error: INV_LOT_SERIAL_VALIDATION_FAIL - The lot or serial validation failed. Check log for details.
