Fusion Payroll: Not Able to Update/End Date Cost Center Information with Particular Effective Date (Doc ID 2177093.1)

Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

On the >Manage Costing for a Person page, when clicking on >Actions >Edit >Update, the effective date is defaulted to today’s date, and there is no way to change the Effective date.

In this case user is expecting to enter the new cost center as of 1st Aug but it is defaulting today date 27/07/2016. Same is the case If I have to end date the cost center.

 
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Ideally it should prompt for effective date.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Navigator > Person Management > Search a Person > Manage Costing for a Person
or
Navigator > Payroll > Administration > Manage Costing for a Person
Effective Date always defaults to today’s(system) date and cannot be changed.
