Cannot Create Accounting For Standard Cost Adjustments (Doc ID 2236940.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run Create Accounting, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Create Accounting request completing with Warning for
Event class - Cost Adjustment
Event Type - Standard Cost Adjustment

Subledger Accounting was unable to locate a match in the mapping set Adjustment Cost Standard Cost Adjustment (XXXXXXX) - Inv. Organization for the input value.
Cause: The input source values do not match any output value defined in the mapping set {MAPPING_SET}.
Action: You must define a default output for the mapping set {MAPPING_SET} or specify mappings for all possible input values.
 

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Create a new cost scenario
2) Enter a NEW STANDARD COST for a Standard cost item.
3) Publish Costs
4) Transfer transactions to Costing
5) Create cost accounting distributions
6) Create accounting transactions
