(Doc ID 2396343.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 19, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Fusion Inventory Management - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Refer to guide Manage Consigned Inventory From Supplier
According to Oracle Documentation above it states that in order to Return Consigned Inventory, specifically in the case of 'Material Consumed and Consumption Advice Not Yet Generated', that a Transfer to Consigned transaction MUST be created before a Return to Supplier transaction can be created.
However, for a use case with users they have received material from a Consigned Order, Created a Transfer to Owned transaction, and then Returned the Material to Supplier without creating a Transfer to Owned transaction and the user observed that the Return to Supplier transaction actually generated the Transfer to Owned transaction.
Is this standard design?
