Last updated on MARCH 01, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Supply Planning Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Capability to set default “Work Order Status” when releasing a “Make” planned orders using Supply Planning Cloud Service.

Currently, the released work order from Supply Planning Cloud is set to “Unreleased” status

In Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), planners have flexibility to set the default work order status based on their unique characteristics of the products they are managing:

1. Most planners set their release work order status preference to “Released”. Planner set the default to “Released” if they do not need to any preparation work on before releasing the work orders.
2. Some planners also set their preference Work Order status to “Unreleased”. These planners usually need to do allocate materials and do some preparation work before setting the Work Orders to “Released” status.

Expecting a similar capability in Supply Planning Cloud Service to allow user to set default "Work Order status" when releasing Make Planned Orders. This setting has to be set at user level.
