Why is that only part of the notification title/subject is translated?

For example,

Users with Language Preference = Brazilian Portuguese

Approve Purchase Order notification
shows as:
Approvar (translated) Purchase Order (not translated)

Document ( Purchase Order) xxxx (Requisition xxxx) Implemented notification
shows as:
Documento (translated) ( Purchase Order/not translated) xxxx (Requisicao (translated) xxxx) Implementado (translated)
