Are Dummy Fields Mandatory In FAH Data File?

Goal
Users are using "Support transaction reversal" feature, integrating with Oracle product OFSAA(Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) with FAH(Fusion Accounting Hub).
When user download data template for source application from FAH, it contains many fields such as below which user haven't defined for source application:

Character3
Character4
Number1
Number2
Number3
Questions to follows:
a) Should the data file must contain the dummy fields mentioned above even though it does not contain any value from source?
b) Oracle provides integration between OFSAA and FAH and in that case if answer to point "a" is Yes, then in case of integration with Oracle product OFSAA, is there some configuration is needed in FAH specific to OFSAA to accept OFSAA generated data file without the mentioned dummy fields
