Subscription Billing Frequency Not Generating Actual Calendar Month (Doc ID 2665163.1)

On : 11.13.19.10.0 version, Subscription Billing

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Subscription Billing Frequency not showing actual calendar month



When currently setting the Subscription frequency to Month and Period Start: Calendar Month, the Billing summary shows a schedule with exactly 30 days per period, instead of the exact amount of days per month (March 31 Days, April 30 Days etc).

Can you please explain what can be done to make sure the periods in the billing schedule are exact calendar months?


 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Rquirement is to use a calendar month as frequency (so for January 31 days, for February 28/29 days, March 31 days etc).

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add product
2. Generate billing
3. See that billing is not generated correctly

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot generate billing according to the setup.
