After Upgrading Oracle Linux 6.4 To Oracle Linux 6.5 The Server Cannot Reboot / tboot Issue (Doc ID 1612144.1)

Symptoms

Server is updated from Oracle Linux 6.4

The yum update succeeds but after the upgrade the servers cannot boot with the below message:

modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.39-400.211.2.el6uek.x86_64/modules.dep: No such fil or directory.


However the file exists.

Changes

Basically a standard yum update has been applied to get the latest packages and kernel
