How to migrate OVM Manager to new SAN storage when it is running as an OVM Guest VM on a Server it is Managing (Doc ID 1677814.1)

1) OVM Manager is running as a VM guest (domU) in the server pool it is managing
2) The SAN storage used for OVM repositories is being replaced by a new SAN device and all repository data needs to be moved to these new LUNs, including the configuration (vm.cfg) and virtual disk resources uses by OVM Manager.



Goal

Migrate the OVM Manager VM from the old SAN storage to the new SAN storage. 

Such deployment of running VM Manager as a guest VM on a server it is managing is not recommended.
