Last updated on NOVEMBER 07, 2024

Applies to:

An HVM guest is limited to having four disks. To accommodate more than four disks, the HVM guest must be converted to a PVHVM guest.

A PVHVM guest can attach up to 107 disks. Full details of the VM guest limitations are given in https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E50245_01/E50246/html/vmrns-limits.html
