Too many defunct processes on server running with UEK4 ksplice kernel. (Doc ID 2273642.1)

Symptoms

One can witness too many defunct processes against UEK4, and be unable to clear/kill them.

# uname -r
4.1.12-XX.X.X.el6uek.x86_64

# uptrack-uname -r
4.1.12-XX.X.XX.el6uek.x86_64

# Uptrack Version: uptrack-1.2.41-0.el6.noarch

 Below command clears the defunct processes but defunct processes re-apears after few days.

# telinit q
