Permissions on /dev/shm are Reverting Back to 755 on Boot. (Doc ID 2296945.1)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later

Symptoms

The /etc/fstab file has been configured to mount /dev/shm on boot but on reboot the filesystem continues to be mounted with 755 permissions.

Adding the, "mode," option does not make a difference.

Changes

 Recently updated the OS from 7.x to 7.3
