Symptoms
Oracle Linux 6 server with UEK3 kernel running, shows huge slab memory being consumed.
For example, the /proc/meminfo, shows 12G slab memory consumed:
The UEK3 kernel version is 3.8.13-16.2.1.el6uek.x86_64 or lower.
