Oracle VM Server (HP DL980 G7) Hung With Error "net eth0: firmware hang detected" (Doc ID 2335345.1)

Symptoms

One of the Oracle VM 3.2.1 server hanging  and system log report below messages:

Jul 7 05:37:24 server ntpd[29222]: synchronized to xx.xx.xx.79, stratum 3
Jul 7 05:38:01 server ntpd[29222]: no servers reachable
Jul 7 05:55:04 server ntpd[29222]: synchronized to xx.xx.xx.161, stratum 2
Jul 7 13:30:04 server kernel: net eth1: firmware hang detected
Jul 7 13:30:04 server kernel: netxen_nic 0000:04:00.1: Dumping hw/fw registers
Jul 7 13:30:04 server kernel: PEG_HALT_STATUS1: 0xffffffff, PEG_HALT_STATUS2: 0xffffffff
