Server fails to boot after a minor update to 7.5 release from 7.4 and shows following error on boot sequence:

[ 0.404865] kernel panic - not synching: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

The server was updated from Oracle Linux release 7.4 to 7.5.
