Oracle Linux 7 : LVM2 Activation Generator Scripts Fails During Boot (Doc ID 2531747.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Linux 7 servers, the LVM activation generator scripts fails during bootup by throwing the following errors;

[FAILED] Failed to start LVM2 vgchange on device xxx:x
