Goal

In certain environments, it may be necessary to change the default values of the NFS UDP and TCP slot table entries on a Linux Client using NFS, depending on the recommended configuration for any specific NAS appliance. The default values may be set to 16 or 64, depending on the OS and/or kernel version installed on the Linux Client.
