Goal

By default, when a Linux Virtual Machine crashes in OLVM it stays crashed, does not reset.

To configure different actions to be taken, the OLVM Watchdog and the VM Watchdog service must be properly configured.
This is the list of all watchdog actions currently available in OLVM 4.2.8:

• none
• reset - upon a VM crash, the Hypervisor will reset the VM
• poweroff - upon a VM crash, the Hypervisor will power off the VM
• dump - upon a VM crash, the Hypervisor will create a VM vmcore locally in the /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/dump/ directory
• pause - upon a VM crash, the Hypervisor will pause the virtual machine
