Oracle Linux: sssd Service Shutdown Due to High Load (Doc ID 2695960.1)

Symptoms

sssd service shutdown unexpectedly without any prior changes on the server.

# cat /var/log/messages
Jun 18 01:58:39 <hostname> certmonger: Certificate named "NSS Certificate DB" in token "IPA Machine Certificate - <hostname>.<domain>" in database "/etc/pki/nssdb" is no longer valid.
Jun 18 01:58:52 <hostname> certmonger: Server denied our request, giving up: 2100 (RPC failed at server. Insufficient access: Insufficient 'write' privilege to the 'userCertificate' attribute of entry 'fqdn=<hostname>.<domain>,cn=computers,cn=accounts,dc=<domain>,dc=co,dc=nz'.).
Jun 18 01:59:22 <hostname> sssd[nss]: Shutting down
Jun 18 01:59:23 <hostname> certmonger: Certificate named "NSS Certificate DB" in token "IPA Machine Certificate - <hostname>.<domain>" in database "/etc/pki/nssdb" is no longer valid.
Jun 18 01:59:23 <hostname> sssd[be[<domain>]]: Shutting down
