Oracle VM: Virtual Machine with Huge Pages Allocation Fails To Boot after Memory is Reduced (Doc ID 2725671.1)

Symptoms

Linux virtual machine(HVM guest) fails to boot after the memory size is reduced to 64GB from 112GB. Console log will indicate out of memory condition and several kernel modules fail to load.

 Linux virtual machine's memory reduced to 64GB from 112GB.
