Oracle Linux 8: Oracle Linux 8 or RHEL8 Installation Hangs with Kernel Panic on CICSO UCS B200 M5 Hardware "unable to handle kernel NULL pointer differences" (Doc ID 2738838.1)

Symptoms

When trying to install Oracle Linux 8.x from an ISO image, the installation gets hung after selecting "Install Oracle Linux 8.x" option. It doesn't even reach the language selection screen. Host is using 100gb SAN LUN (its boot from SAN setup, no local drive). This setup works perfectly fine for OL7.9 but having problem with 8.x version. The installation fails even with RHEL8, and OL8 UEK boot ISO also results in similar failure.
