An Oracle Linux Manager Server Can't Authenticate Using SAML/SSO (Doc ID 2751268.1)

Symptoms

 A server running Oracle Linux Manger (OLM) 2.10 was configured to use SSO and SAML for authentication for its local user accounts.

However after updating the configuration the local root user could no longer authenticate.

 

Changes

 The server was configured to use kerberos authentication via PAM.
